This is my original painting Green Forest Fairy.
Every time I look at an old tree and the moss that grows on it, I could faintly make out a pretty little face gazing back. This little face would belong to the guardian of that tree and as soon as I blink, she would disappear forever. I wonder what questions she has for me?

I like to paint the funnest part first- the woman’s face.

I have a terribly short attention span so I’ve always rushed through my paintings like they’re on fire. This time I promised myself to take my time with this one.. as long as I need.

Painting mermaids at 2:30am with a hot cup of miso and watching documentaries and a sleeping cat next to me.. bliss..
